Identify and analyze the political, social and economic factors behind the gap in political representation between marginalized populations and the general population, and propose solutions to close it.

Research methods

Comparative analysis of election, voting rights and representation laws at national and subnational levels, alongside a survey of population groups on their access to political representation.

Obligations

Findings feed into policy recommendations for governments to improve access and voice for marginalized populations and close the representation gap.

Research objectives

Analyze the factors behind successful conflict resolution and peaceful coexistence in post-conflict zones, and the challenges to achieving long-term peace.

Qualitative analysis of existing literature on post-conflict peacebuilding, combined with interviews and surveys of local populations in post-conflict zones.

Obligations

Findings identify the most effective strategies for lasting peace and inform policy recommendations for governments and international organisations.
